As you know, I have been interested in how the digital world is affecting our children and have organized Socratic seminars around this question for the students in my class to explore. A colleague recommended I read Gordon Neufeld and his theories on attachment. So during the spring break, I read many of his articles and watched the following thought-provoking talk "On Raising Children in a Digital World." He addresses many of the questions I've pondered like: "How do we harness the spectacular connecting potential and yet avoid the pitfalls of attachment technology gone awry?
